Introducing the Summer LENNIE Jumpsuit in cream cotton

Updated: Jun 17

Introducing the Lennie Jumpsuit New to Free Natives this summer, and launching Saturday, i'd like to introduce you to our newest staple, the LENNIE JUMPSUIT. This casual fit overall, featuring handy side seam pockets, front and back pleats, as well as a scooped front and back neckline. This playful and minimal ladies jumpsuit is particularly special to me as its developed from a 1980's pattern that my mum gave to me many years ago, when i first said i wanted to sew something for myself to wear. It was the first thing I made, working from a crinkled paper pattern that mum had used and used. It was messy, lines didn't line up and honestly, it didn't really fit either, BUT, I was proud of the effort and had caught the sewing bug! ... Fast forward MANY years, and I have revisited this style that I loved so much and have fond memories of. I now know how to rework patterns, change details and grade the sizes, which has brought me to the new Lennie style. I hope you like it :) This easy to wear, practical and hard wearing garment is perfect for those summer days that are a little cooler. Sewn from dead-stock cotton drill you can wear this piece on its own, or with plenty of layers! The Lennie Overall will be added to the website shop Saturday 11th June. Available in Small, Medium and Large. A small amount of stock is available and ready to ship.
