I formed the Free Natives label in late 2019 from a desire for freedom in creativity and a
chance to experiment within sustainable design. Laurens designs and colour palettes take inspiration from nature and her surroundings in the British countryside.
I formed the Free Natives label in late 2019 after a long career working in the fast fashion industry in central London.
I wanted to completely change the way I worked, and play slowly with total integrity. Exploring how I can make garments in a sustainable way that can be worn in good conscience.
Free Natives offers versatile garments with a story, that fit seamlessly in with the rest of your wardrobe.
Our designs and colour palettes are heavily influenced by nature, how you feel when you are out, experiencing it and seeing what is around you. The colours, sounds, smells, textures.
We're proud to have natural fibres, plant dyes and reclaimed fabrics at the heart of what we do.
Garments made to order, avoiding unnecessary waste.
The label is conceptualised, sampled, dyed and sewn by Lauren Geoghegan in Nottinghamshire, England.
